Faberge Big Egg Hunt

Around 200 large Easter eggs will be appearing around London next week for the charity Faberge Big Egg Hunt.
Fashion designer Dame Vivienne Westwood, film director Sir Ridley Scott and artist Marc Quinn are among those who have created designs for the 2ft 6in (74cm) fibreglass eggs.

Ivan Djidjev has been commissioned to create one of the 200 eggs. His exqusite piece ‘Golden Egg of Life’ which can be seen has been hidden at a location in London will help to raise money for charities Elephant Family and Action for Children.
The hunt starts on Shrove Tuesday and people will have until Easter Sunday, April 8, to spot as many eggs as they can.

Following the event the 200 customised eggs, which are destined to become highly collectible works of art, will be available to buy at auction, with proceeds going to Action for Children and Elephant Family. The jewel in the crown of the auction will be a stunning Faberg? High Jewellery egg pendant featuring a 121ct emerald.
